What it does
An HTML report of design improvements for your codebase, then a guided session on the one you pick. The focus is turning shallow, tangled modules into deep ones that are easier to test and easier for an AI to navigate. It starts by deciding where to look, using your commit history to find areas that change often, unless you name one. It then applies a shared vocabulary of modules, interfaces, depth, seams and adapters, with tests like asking what happens if a module is deleted. It reads your domain glossary and past decision records so it does not reopen settled choices. Each suggestion is written in those terms.
You give it
- Your codebase
- An area to focus on (optional)
- Your glossary and decision records (optional)
You get
- An HTML report of design opportunities
- Reasons for each
- A short list ranked by payoff
- A guided walkthrough of the one you choose
Use it when
- Changes keep touching ten files for one feature.
- Tests are hard to write because modules are tangled.
- You want the riskiest design spots named.
- An AI agent keeps getting lost in your code.
How to use it
- Add it to your AI once: download it and add the folder to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex as a skill.
- Ask for the job in your own words. Your AI opens the skill when it fits.
- It works best when your AI can read your project files.
