What it does
Friends and customers tell you your idea is great, then never buy. This gives you interview questions that get honest answers, and a way to spot polite lies. It is based on The Mom Test. The method has three rules: ask about their life and not your idea, ask about specific things that happened in the past, and talk less than they do. A good question could prove your idea wrong. It scores your plan or a past conversation out of 7, names the rows that failed, and gives a fix for each. It also helps you end with a real commitment, such as time, an intro or money, instead of a compliment.
