What it does
Age and income rarely explain why someone buys. Describe your buyer and you get a profile of their wants, fears, self-image and trust doubts that you can use in copy, offers and funnels. Before writing, it checks what it needs: who the buyer is, what they are trying to achieve or avoid, the situation when they meet you, and any limits. Then it maps their needs and identity, from what they want to what the choice says about them, and where trust breaks. It uses only demographic details that change behaviour. The psychology notes are working ideas, so check them against real audience research before using them in public claims.
