What it does
Most selling goes wrong before any words are written, because the offer goes to the wrong people. A group that has never bought anything like it needs to be taught and persuaded. A group that bought something similar last month only needs a reason to choose you. This skill ranks every group you could reach on a ladder, from cold names up to your own happy customers. It moves groups up when they bought by mail or online, spent more, or bought lately. It notes any weaker group that fits the offer closely enough to still pay. It then picks the highest rung you can afford for a small first test and writes down, before you spend, what would count as a fail.
