What it does
A rating for each legal risk in a deal or issue, scored on two scales so you can tell which ones need attention now. Describe the situation. The skill scores severity from 1 (negligible) to 5 (critical) and likelihood from 1 (remote) to 5 (almost certain), then multiplies them for a risk score. Severity is tied to the money at stake, from under one percent of deal value up to over twenty-five percent, plus disruption and public attention. The output is a documented risk list, ordered by score, that you can hand to a decision maker. It supports your team and is not legal advice, so a qualified lawyer should review the ratings.
