What it does
Your product feed is what Google Shopping shows. A disapproved product can't show at all, so it is lost revenue. Products with warnings or limited performance still show, but less than they could. If you raise ad spend while the feed has problems, you pay to show a broken feed. This skill reads your diagnostics in the order that matters. It looks at disapproved products first, then warnings and limited performance. It checks the five common causes: a missing or wrong GTIN, a price that doesn't match the page, missing shipping info, policy violations and wrong or missing attributes. It splits fixes into those Google can fix for you and those you must do by hand, and sets up prevention. It covers product data. For store policy, use the suspension checker.
You give it
- Merchant Center Products, then Diagnostics, as an export or screenshots
- How you update the feed and how often
- A sample product page and its feed row (optional)
- Your total number of products
- Store capture (optional)
You get
- Issues grouped as disapproved, warnings and limited performance, with counts
- A fix list split into automatic, manual and policy fixes
- A feed score out of 100 and how it was worked out
- A prevention plan for update frequency, checking before upload and price sync
Use it when
- Products show as disapproved or "needs attention" in Merchant Center.
- You are about to raise ad spend on Shopping or Performance Max.
- Prices change often and you worry the feed lags behind the page.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- In Merchant Center open Products, then Diagnostics. Export the issues or take screenshots.
- Tell it how the feed updates (Shopify app, a feed tool, a file) and how often.
- Fix the disapproved products first. Use Autofix only for low-risk items.
- Run it again after the fixes, and before you raise spend.
