What it does
In Google Shopping you don't bid on keywords. Google reads your product title, description and details to decide which searches to show your product for. A vague title such as a brand name and a code word shows you for nothing. A title with the words shoppers type shows you for the right searches. This skill puts the top converting search terms first, then the product type, variant details and one or two real features, with the brand last unless shoppers know it. It uses only true attributes. A wrong word makes Google show you for searches you can't serve. It also suggests description text, image checks, custom labels and a rollout in batches, because changing every title at once resets learning in your campaigns.
You give it
- Product list with current titles, variants, colours, sizes and features
- Search terms with conversions, from Shopping, Performance Max or Search reports (optional for a new store)
- Your brand name, and whether shoppers know it
- Your top 20 products by revenue
- Current product images (optional)
- Your results (optional)
- Product photos (optional)
You get
- A new title for each product and variant, in one fixed order
- A description of about 1,000 characters for each product, checked against its facts
- An image checklist and a test plan
- A rollout plan in small batches, with custom label ideas
Use it when
- Your Shopping ads get impressions but few clicks or sales.
- Your titles are brand names, codes or the supplier's text.
- You have search term data and want it written into the feed.
How to use it

- Say whether your brand is a market leader in its niche.
- Check every new title against the real product before you use it.
- Roll out titles in small batches and watch clicks, cost per click and returns after each batch.
