What it does
A set of worked examples for an online lesson, where the help shrinks as students get better. Students first see a full solution, then solutions with a step missing, then try alone. You name the skill you want to teach. The skill builds a sequence of examples that start complete and fade step by step. Early examples explain the reasoning at each step. Later ones leave blanks for the student to fill, and prompts ask them to explain why. It keeps each screen light so learners are not overloaded. This approach comes from research on how people learn from examples. It suits e-learning modules, school platforms and apps.
