What it does
Your store numbers show where shoppers leave. They do not show why. The only way to find out is to ask, at the right moment, in words that get a straight answer. Most stores never ask, or ask too late, or ask a question so broad that the answers are useless. This skill plans three ways to ask. A short survey right after the order, when buyers are in a good mood and will tell you what almost stopped them. A one-question survey on the product page that fires at about 60% of the time shoppers normally stay. And a user test script for 3 to 5 strangers who think out loud while they use your store. It also gives you a sheet to tally the answers into 5 to 8 doubts, each tied to one fix at one place on the page.
You give it
- What you sell, your store platform and the survey tool you use (if any)
- How long a typical visit lasts, from your analytics
- Your top products and any objections your support team hears
- Who buys, such as country, age range and device (optional)
- Customer words (optional)
You get
- A post-purchase survey with its two questions and when it appears
- A product page survey with the exact trigger time for your store
- A user test setup, screener, script and log sheet
- A tally sheet that ranks doubts and pairs each with one fix and its place on the page
Use it when
- Your product page gets visits but few add-to-carts, and you do not know why.
- You are about to rewrite a page and want the shopper's own words to write it from.
- You want a before and after read on a redesign, using the same test twice.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Give it your platform, survey tool, average visit length, top products and the doubts your support team hears most.
- Add the surveys and set the trigger time it gives you. Book the user test if you want one.
- Come back with the answers pasted in (or the tester notes). The skill tallies them into ranked doubts.
- Make one fix per top doubt, then run the same test again to compare.
