What it does
A draft can be full of good sentences and still leave no feeling behind. The usual reason is that some parts pull toward a different effect, or one passage is so strong it takes the ending's place. Writers rarely see this in their own work. This skill asks you to state the feeling first. It then judges the first sentence, marks each paragraph as serving, neutral or competing, and finds the line where attention first slips. It checks length against one sitting and finds strong passages that steal the climax. Each failure is pinned to an exact line and given one fix. The score is the share of paragraphs that serve the effect, with the working shown.
You give it
- Your draft, in full
- The feeling you meant, in a sentence
- Where it will be read or heard and how long it can run (optional)
You get
- A paragraph-by-paragraph review: serving, neutral or competing
- The line where attention first slips
- A list of cuts and fixes, each tied to the effect
- A score out of 100 with its working shown
Use it when
- You finished a draft and it feels flat, but you cannot say why.
- You have a speech, ad or story that tries to do two things and you want to know which to keep.
- You need to cut a piece to length and want each cut to have a reason.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste the draft and say, in one sentence, what feeling it should leave.
- Say how long it needs to be.
- Go through the list of cuts and fixes one by one and accept or reject each.
- Run it again on the fixed draft to see the score change.
