AI Blocks › Speak and persuade

Turn the lessons you have learned into funny stories and a short talk

Give it two or three lessons you have learned. Get a funny story for each and a talk.

Turn your lessons into funny stories and a short talk is a free AI workflow for the job "Speak and persuade". It guides your AI through several skills in order, passing each step's output to the next.

What it does

A talk that lists lessons is forgotten by lunch. People remember a story, and they remember a laugh. But a funny story that wanders from its point leaves them with the joke and not the lesson. The steps start with one lesson in one plain sentence and a small everyday scene with one comic turn, an aside to the reader and a closing consequence. A checker then marks each paragraph as serving, neutral or competing with the single point, and finds where attention slips. You pause to fix the competing lines and repeat for your other lessons. The last step takes the two or three stories and builds the talk: each lesson tied to a true story, said in one sentence, backed by one outside voice, with a question for the room and an opening joke at your own cost.

Steps

  1. Teaching story writer: Give it a lesson you want to teach. Get a short funny story that carries it, with a turn to the reader.
  2. Story impact reviewer: Paste your draft and the feeling you meant. Get each line checked against it, where attention slips and what to cut.
  3. Lesson talk writer: Paste your stories and their lessons. Get a short talk that builds each lesson on a story, ending on a next step.

How to use it

  1. Download the handoff pack. It's a zip with HANDOFF.md and every skill file this workflow uses.
  2. Give the folder to Claude (in Claude Code, or as files in a Claude Project) and say "Follow HANDOFF.md".
  3. Run the first two steps once for each lesson. Fix the competing lines yourself at the pause.
  4. Give the talk step your true stories. Any lesson without one is marked as missing, not made up.
