What it does
Talks full of advice slide off the audience, because advice with no story behind it is easy to forget. A story with no lesson is only entertainment. The two together make something people repeat on the way home. This skill chooses two or three lessons you trust and ties each to one true story from your own low point. It writes each lesson as a single short sentence a listener can repeat, backs it with an outside voice or idea, and speaks straight to the listener with a question they can answer. It opens with a joke at your own expense about why you are the one speaking, and closes on a next step, not a summary.
