What it does
A first test goes wrong in two ways. It is too big, so you build for months before anyone reacts. Or it is too small, so nobody has to act and you learn nothing. Either way you spend effort that taught you nothing. This skill starts from one guess and the behaviour that would prove it, such as a pre-order or a second visit. It then picks the cheapest form that can produce that behaviour, from a plain sign-up page to doing the work by hand for one customer. It names who to try it on, cuts every extra, and sets the fail line before you start.
You give it
- Your ranked guesses, or your plan and worry
- What you can spend and who you can reach (optional)
You get
- The behaviour that would count as yes
- A test form, a runner-up and their costs
- The early adopters to try it on
- A cut list and a fail line
Use it when
- You know your riskiest guess and need the cheapest way to test it.
- You are about to build a first version and suspect it is too much.
- Your last test was a survey or a chat and left you with praise but no facts.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste the ranked guesses from the Leap-of-faith assumption finder.
- Say how many days and how much money you can spend.
- Take the chosen form to the MVP experiment planner to set the pass numbers.
