What it does
Every app you install adds code to your store, and a slow store loses shoppers. Many stores carry apps they switched off, never turned on, or pay for tools that Shopify now gives away: filters, search, chat, bundles, email. This skill goes through your list one app at a time. It asks what the app is for, whether a free built-in tool does the same job, and whether the app is used at all. It marks each app keep, swap or cut. It also gives you a vetting checklist for the next app you consider, and a score for the stack. It is written for Shopify. For WooCommerce, the rules still help but the plugin names are not covered.

How to use it

- List each app with its monthly cost and one line on what it does for you.
- Add your speed rating or bounce rate if you know it.
- Before you cut a review or email app, export your reviews and email flows.
- Remove or swap one app at a time, and check speed after each change.
