What it does
Signs are often added one at a time, by different people, in different styles. The visitor sees a pile of arrows, logos and warnings and still gets lost. A sign system works when it is planned from the visitor's walk, not from what the operator wants to say. This skill walks each route as a first-time visitor and lists every point where they must choose. It picks one dominant mark that reads from far away at any size, and lets one master colour or mark lead, with smaller labels under it. It writes the information a lost person needs next, in order. Repetition makes the mark trustworthy: same place, same look every time. It records the rules so staff can add signs later without you.
You give it
- A description or map of the place, its entrances and main destinations
- The routes people take, and the usual starting points
- Existing signs and what you cannot change (optional)
You get
- A list of decision points for every route
- One lead mark and master colour, with the rule for smaller labels
- What each sign says, in the order a lost person needs it
- Rules that staff can follow to add signs
- A walkthrough as a first-time visitor
Use it when
- Visitors keep asking staff where things are.
- You are opening, moving or expanding a site and need signs that fit together.
- Your signs were added over the years and now clash.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Describe the place, or attach a floor plan or map. Name the entrances and the main places people want to reach.
- Say where first-time visitors start and what they usually ask.
- Walk the plan yourself with a stranger and note where they hesitate.
- Give the rules page to whoever orders new signs.
