AI Blocks › Run meetings, notes and plans

Hold fewer meetings and finish each one with decisions that have owners

Name a meeting. Get a call on whether to hold it, a pre-read, then notes with owners and dates.

Run a meeting worth holding, from agenda to action items is a free AI workflow for the job "Run meetings, notes and plans". It guides your AI through several skills in order, passing each step's output to the next.

What it does

Most meetings should be an email. The rest start late, wander and end with no clear decision. After the call, nobody agrees on who does what, and notes come days later or never. The workflow starts with a gate. It prices the meeting from who attends and for how long, and refuses it if there is no decision, no agenda or no owner. If it passes, you get a timed agenda with decisions first, then a pre-read. The pre-read step pulls background from your Notion pages, so connect Notion first, or skip that step. After a pause to hold and record the meeting, it turns the recording into a summary, the decisions and an action list with owners and dates.

Steps

  1. Meeting agenda and cost planner: Give it a meeting idea. Get a call on whether to hold it, its cost in dollars and a timed agenda.
  2. Meeting pre-read writer: Name the meeting. Get an agenda and pre-read built from your Notion pages and research.
  3. Meeting notes maker: Give it meeting audio. Get a transcript by speaker, with a summary, decisions and action items.

How to use it

  1. Download the handoff pack. It's a zip with HANDOFF.md and every skill file this workflow uses.
  2. Give the folder to Claude (in Claude Code, or as files in a Claude Project) and say "Follow HANDOFF.md".
  3. Tell it the decision the meeting must make, who comes and for how long.
  4. Send the pre-read, hold the meeting and record it. Make sure everyone knows it is recorded.
  5. Give it the audio file to get the notes.
