What it does
Two numbers tell you most of what an ad is doing. Recall is the share of people who can say what the ad says. Pull is how many more of those people buy than the people who cannot. This skill does the sums. It scores the word-for-word answers against your rule, counts the groups, and subtracts. It also works out a rough margin, so a gap that is only noise is not read as a result. It then says which pattern you have: few people hear it but it works on those who do; many hear it but it does not move them; people who remember it buy less; or it is working. Each pattern has a different next step.
You give it
- The answer sheet: what each person said, whether they buy, and who they are
- The scoring rule from the survey plan, if you have it
- Results from an earlier wave or a rival ad (optional)
- Plan (optional)
You get
- Recall as a share of everyone asked
- The buying rate in each group and the pull
- A rough margin, and whether the gap is bigger than it
- Which of four patterns it is, and the next step
Use it when
- You have survey answers and no idea how to turn them into a decision.
- Sales are muddy and you want a number for what the ad adds.
- People talk about your ad, and you want to know if it sells.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste the answer sheet, with what each person said word for word, and your scoring rule.
- Read the pattern and the caution before the number.
- Take the result to the Campaign keep-or-change checker.
