What it does
A plan written as a story hides what you do not know. Revenue is a hope, a channel is a guess and the customer is an assumption, yet all of them sit on the page as facts. Then money goes to sales and marketing before anyone has shown the model works. This skill puts the plan on one page with five boxes: customers, value, channels, revenue and costs. It rewrites each as a guess that could be proved wrong, ranks the guesses by risk and pairs each with a cheap test and a pass line. It says whether you are still searching and keeps a log, so you can see what changed.
