What it does
A writer reading a fresh draft sees what they meant, not what is on the page. After a few weeks away, the draft looks like someone else's work, and the mistakes show. That is the point of resting it. This skill reads the way you will when the draft has rested. It reads the whole piece in one pass and marks the pages that need work. It sorts what it finds into small mistakes, such as spelling, names and facts that disagree, and large ones: a person who does something they never would, a thread that is dropped, a long start that goes nowhere. It also lists the things that come back again and again, which the next step uses to find what the story is about. The score counts problems found, so a high score means few holes, not good prose.

How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste the whole draft if it fits, with page or scene numbers if you have them. For a long book, paste one act at a time and say which.
- Say how long it has rested. If under two weeks, expect a thinner read.
- Do not fix anything while you read the report. Read it all, then pick.
- Pass the recurring list to the theme finder.
