What it does
Most store owners read a creative test by looking at the ad with the best ROAS, or the one that spent the most. Both can mislead. Meta shows people several ads in a row, but credits only the last one, so a low-ROAS ad may be the one starting the sale. And an ad that spent first has simply been shown more. This skill reads in a set order. First the ad set against your target. If it hits, it tells you to leave the ads alone. Then it ranks the ads by spend, return, clicks and video retention, checks each step from first view to purchase, and flags ads that got attention but no sales. Where two experts disagree on the top spender, it shows both views and when each applies. It ends with the next brief and a score for how safe the read is to act on.
You give it
- An ad export with one row per ad and its ad set (spend, impressions, purchases, ROAS or CPA, CPC, CTR)
- Your target ROAS or CPA
- Link CTR, add to cart, checkout and conversion rate, and hook and hold rate for videos (optional)
- The attribution window and whether existing customers are excluded (optional, but it changes the score)
- One line on each ad's angle, format and hook (optional)
- Ad breakdowns (optional)
You get
- A verdict for each ad set against your target
- A table of every ad with keep, leave, replace or retest and the reason
- False winners flagged, with the path from view to purchase for each ad
- The next creative brief, and a read score out of 100 with its sum shown
Use it when
- A test batch has run for a week or two and you need to know which ads to keep, leave or replace.
- One ad is eating most of the spend and you can't tell if it is a winner or just first in line.
- Your click-through rate looks great but sales are flat.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Export your ads from Ads Manager with the ad set column, and paste or attach the file. Add your target ROAS or CPA.
- Say which attribution window the export uses and whether existing customers are excluded.
- Do the leave-alone calls first. Then switch off or replace only what the skill marks, in sets that miss target.
- Run it again each week, not each day, and change one thing between runs.
