What it does
Feedback often fails because it is vague ("make it punchier") or because it is a list of orders the maker did not ask for. The maker then defends the draft or changes the wrong thing. This skill starts by asking what the maker loves in the piece. It reads the whole draft first, marks where a reader leans in and where they drift, then points at specific weak lines and asks if the maker is fine with each. If the maker defends one well, the note is dropped. It reads in order and starts with what is natural and good, asks what idea each scene carries, and checks each action against what the character would do. It says nothing about whether the draft will sell.
You give it
- The draft, pasted whole
- What it is for and who reads it
- What you love in it, or what excited you (optional)
- A brief, if there is one (optional)
- A buyer brief (optional)
You get
- A short note on what is working
- Notes on specific weak lines, each as a question
- Where the reader leans in and where they drift
- A leave-alone list and a check of each action against the character
Use it when
- You wrote a script, page or story and want honest notes.
- You are reviewing someone else's draft and want to be useful without taking over.
- A draft feels flat and you cannot say why.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste the whole draft and say what it is for.
- Say what you love about it, even if it is small.
- Answer each question the notes ask. Drop a note if you can defend the line.
- Make changes only on notes you agree with, then run it again if you like.
