What it does
Big decisions go wrong in two ways. Either nobody owns the call and it drifts, or one person decides without hearing the people who disagree. A vote makes it worse: it turns a question of fact into a popularity contest. This skill names one informed captain, the person closest to the facts who will own the result. It finds who knows the work best and who is likely to disagree, asks each for the strongest case against, and sets the date the captain decides. It picks who attends: people who know the work, plus one senior person who joins as an equal. It sets the rule that every view is said out loud before anyone reads the room, and that after the call people disagree out loud and then commit.
You give it

You get

- A list of who knows most and who disagrees
- A request for the strongest case against, per person
