What it does
A mission statement is only as good as the choices it settles. Many read well and then say nothing when you are deciding whether to take a project, spend money or confront a friend. You find that out the hard way, usually at a bad moment. This skill tests the statement on five real choices. For each, it reads only the statement and writes what it points to, then marks the choice clear, partly clear or silent. The score is out of 100: 20 points for each clear choice, 10 for each partly clear one and 0 for each silent one. It compares the result with what you actually decided, rewrites the lines that failed, re-runs the same five, and sets a review date.
You give it
- Your mission statement, the short version at least
- Five real choices, two recent and three ahead
- What you decided and why, for the recent ones (optional)
- Your question (optional)
You get
- Each choice marked clear, partly clear or silent, with the line used
- What you did against what the statement points to
- A clarity score out of 100, before and after, with how it was worked out
- Line fixes, old and new, and a review date
Use it when
- You just wrote a mission statement and want to know if it works.
- A big choice is coming and you want to see what your statement says about it.
- Your statement has been on the wall for a year and you suspect it says nothing.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste your statement. List five real choices, with dates or names.
- For the recent ones, say what you decided and why.
- Read the marks. Where it says silent, decide if the statement should speak or if the choice should be left to judgment.
- Keep the fixed statement and set the review date in your calendar.
