What it does

Many owners dislike their name long before they act. Others rename on a whim and lose search traffic. The real question is whether the name costs you more than a change would. A name that is hard to spell, hard to search or close to a bigger brand adds friction to every sale. A name with years of branded search, reviews and repeat buyers has value that a rename puts at risk. This skill counts both sides. It looks for hard triggers first, then lists friction and what you would lose, and gives a score from 0 to 100 where a higher score means a stronger case to rename. The score is a decision aid built from one agency's view and a design team's process, not a standard. If you rename, it plans four phases and the message to tell customers. If you keep, it fixes the friction.

How to use it

  1. Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
  2. Paste your name, store age, branded search share, repeat customers and review counts. Real numbers matter more than guesses.
  3. Add the problems you see with the name and where it appears, including marketplaces.
  4. Read the score and call, then the plan. If it says tweak, start with the pilot suggestion before any full rename.
  5. Do the trademark and domain checks yourself, with a lawyer for trademarks.
