What it does
Overall churn hides where the problem is. Subscribers leave at set points: right after signing up, when the first box arrives, when the billing reminder lands, when the first rebill goes through, and after campaigns you send. Each one has its own fix. In one audited store, the biggest cancel day was the day of the first rebill, when a plain receipt went out, about double the day of the reminder. This skill charts cancels by days since the first order and labels the spikes. It then scores four parts, 25 points each: how much of the first-order subscription value gap you capture, how many cancels follow the billing reminder and confirmation, how many cancels follow your campaigns, and your save rate. It shows every threshold and how each number was worked out. It reads data only and changes nothing in your subscription app.
You give it
- Cancels with date, order number and reason
- A first-order subscription flag and revenue per customer by month
- Emails you sent to subscribers, with cancels after each send
- Your save rate from your portal
- Spreadsheet (optional)
You get
- A score out of 100 and the four numbers behind it
- A chart of cancels by days since sign-up, with spikes labelled
- A list of emails that caused more cancels than starts
- The top three fixes, each pointing to the right skill
Use it when
- Your churn is higher than you want and you do not know which moment causes it.
- You send campaigns to subscribers and want to know if they cause cancels.
- You want one list of fixes, each pointing to the skill that handles it.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Attach an export of cancels with dates, order numbers and reasons, plus your subscribers and revenue by month.
- Add your email sends with cancels and starts after each, and your save rate.
- Read the score, then the spikes. Fix the biggest spike first.
- Run it again after the fix, on the next cohort, to see if the spike shrank.
