What it does
A succession plan that shows which key roles have no cover, who might step in, and what each person needs to be ready. People decisions stay with you. You give your critical roles and some detail on current talent. The skill maps each role by how much damage a vacancy would do, assesses the pipeline behind it, and prepares material for a talent review with a 9-box grid. It drafts development plans to move successors along and a short board report. It warns that a name in a box is not a ready successor, and that succession is not the same as replacement planning. Readiness calls are yours.
