What it does
YouTube results are easy to misread. A hook can look weak because you judged on clicks, or a page can look fine because Google over-reports sales. Stores then scale the wrong ad or pause one that was working. This skill reads each ad against four things: view rate (how strong the hook is), click-through rate (how strong the offer and call to action are), conversion rate (how strong the page is) and new-customer cost per sale against your break-even. It gives a verdict per ad and tells you which test to run next. The benchmarks come from one agency's accounts, so treat them as starting points. A low reported ROAS is fine only when you have proof that customers come back.
You give it
- Per ad, the view rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, cost and new-customer cost per sale
- Where each ad ran (in-stream or Shorts)
- Your break-even new-customer cost per sale
- View-through conversions (optional)
- Your video ads (optional)
You get
- A scorecard with each metric rated
- A score out of 100 per ad, with the sum shown
- A scale, keep or pause call per ad
- The next test: hook, offer and call to action, or page
Use it when
- You have several YouTube ads running and do not know which to scale and which to stop.
- An ad has views but few sales, and you need to know whether to fix the hook, the offer or the page.
- You want a quick weekly read of YouTube results that you can repeat.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Export the YouTube ad results from Google Ads, split by in-stream and Shorts, and paste them.
- Add your new-customer cost per sale from your store or attribution tool, and your break-even figure.
- Act on the verdicts, one change per ad, and read the results again after the next full week.
- Run the next test it names for each ad that is not ready to scale.
