AI Blocks › Set up your brand file

Get a voice guide from your own writing, and a way to check new copy

Give it your documents. Get a voice guide, new copy in that voice and a ranked check.

Write a voice guide from your documents and check copy is a free AI workflow for the job "Set up your brand file". It guides your AI through several skills in order, passing each step's output to the next.

What it does

When several people write for you, or you write on different days, the voice slips. One page is warm, the next is stiff. Telling a writer "be on brand" does not help, because no one has written down what that means. The steps write it down from what you already have. First it reads your documents and call notes, sorts what they say about voice, tone and words, and rates how sure it is of each rule. It lists the questions your team has not settled. You answer those, because only you can. Then it writes a real email, post or pitch in the settled voice, with a note on each choice. Last it checks a draft against the guide and ranks each gap, with a before and after for the fix.

Steps

  1. Brand voice guide builder: Give it your documents or call transcripts. Get a brand voice guide with rules, examples and open questions.
  2. Brand voice rewriter: Give it a draft or a topic. Get emails, posts or pitches written in your brand voice, with notes on each choice.
  3. Draft brand voice checker: Paste a draft. Get deviations from your voice and style guide ranked by severity, each with a before and after fix.

How to use it

  1. Download the handoff pack. It's a zip with HANDOFF.md and every skill file this workflow uses.
  2. Give the folder to Claude (in Claude Code, or as files in a Claude Project) and say "Follow HANDOFF.md".
  3. Attach or paste your best documents and call notes. Step 1 stops with the guide and its open questions.
  4. Answer the open questions with whoever owns the brand, then paste the updated guide back.
  5. Give the brief for the new piece. Then paste a draft to check, or use the one it just wrote.
