What it does
Most people send one email and call it a campaign. The reader was busy, or not ready, or needed one more fact. Drayton Bird has said in public for decades that the follow-ups do most of the selling, as long as each one brings something new rather than "just bumping this". This prompt turns your single email into a sequence of four. Every email asks for the same one action. Each email carries one reason: the main benefit, the biggest doubt answered, the proof, then a short honest last note. It suggests the gaps between sends, keeps every price and deadline exactly as you gave them, and writes the rule that ends the sequence when someone replies or buys. Where you have no proof or no real deadline, it says MISSING instead of inventing one.
You give it
- The email or its facts
- The offer, with price, terms and deadline if real (advised)
- Who gets it and what they already know (advised)
- Proof you are allowed to use (optional)
- Your offer (optional)
You get
- One ask and four different reasons, each marked from the input or a gap
- Four emails under 150 words with subject lines
- Suggested timing with reasons, and the stop rule
Use it when
- You wrote one sales or outreach email and are about to send it once to a list.
- People open your first email and nothing happens after.
- You have an offer with a real end date and want the run-up planned.
How to use it
- Copy the prompt, then paste it into Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini with your email under it.
- Add the offer facts and who the list is.
- Check the REASONS list. Fill any GAP with a real fact and run again, or let that email ask a question instead.
- Load the four emails into your email tool with the suggested gaps and the stop rule.
