What it does
A hard problem usually looks hard because many questions are tangled together. Some of them have answers that almost anyone sensible would give. If you settle those first, what is left is smaller and clearer. This skill lists the big questions, settles the obvious ones with a written reason, and works the target backward with simple arithmetic. If the sums say a path cannot reach the goal, that path is crossed off. You get the settled answers, the sums, and a sharper question for the next step.
You give it
- The problem or goal, with the result you want and a date
- What you already know or have decided (optional)
- Numbers you have: prices, costs, audience size, hours (optional)
You get
- The big questions, split into settled and still open
- A rough sum showing what your target needs
- The paths the sums rule out
- A smaller question to carry into the next step
Use it when
- A problem feels too big and you do not know where to start.
- You have a target (revenue, users, savings) and have not checked what it would take.
- Several people argue about details while a basic question is still open.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Describe the problem, the result you want and any numbers you have.
- Read the settled list first. Argue with any answer you think is not obvious.
- Take the smaller question into the next step, such as the many-field model checklist.
