What it does
It is easy to know the words and not the subject. Someone who has memorised the talk can pass until the first hard question from the floor. There are two kinds of knowing: the kind from paying your dues, and the kind that sounds right. This skill tests which kind you have. It writes six questions from the edges of the topic: exceptions, numbers, what changed, what the other side says, how it fails and how you know. You answer each without looking things up. It marks the answers and turns every gap into a question to learn or ask an adviser.
You give it
- The topic and your claim or plan about it
- The circle result (optional)
- Your own answers when asked
You get
- Six hard questions an expert would ask
- Each answer marked real, partial or only talk
- A score and a verdict on the claim
- The gaps turned into questions to learn or ask
Use it when
- You are about to give advice or make a bet on something you have mostly read about.
- You can explain a topic smoothly and wonder if you really understand it.
- Someone is selling you a topic you cannot test.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- State your topic and claim. Answer each question from memory, with no lookups.
- Be honest where you are guessing. Guessing is useful to know.
- Take the gap questions to a book, a trial or an adviser you have checked.
