What it does
A full calendar is not a plan. When every day is cut up by meetings and messages, the work that matters gets the scraps, and you end the week busy with little finished. Most people plan by adding to a list, so nothing traces back to what they care about. This skill works from the top down. It writes a short statement of your roles and values, turns that into goals for the quarter, then picks a few projects for the week. It finds two-hour blocks in your real calendar and protects them, and places short check times for messages around those blocks. It adds quiet seasons or a no-meeting day, then checks whether the pace is one you could hold for a year.
You give it
- Your roles and what you value, in a few lines (required)
- Your calendar for a normal week, with fixed meetings and duties (required)
- Projects and goals already on your plate (optional)
- How often you must answer messages or calls (optional)
You get
- A short statement of your roles and values
- Goals for the quarter and projects for the week
- Protected hard-work blocks placed in your calendar
- Message check times, a quiet-season idea and a plan for how to judge it
Use it when
- You are busy every day but cannot name what you finished this month.
- Your hardest work keeps getting pushed to evenings or weekends.
- You are starting a new quarter and want your goals to show up in your week.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- List your roles and what you value, then paste your normal week as it is, meetings and all.
- Say how fast people expect a reply, so the message checks are realistic.
- Try the week for two weeks, then tell the skill what broke and ask for a fix.
- Review at the end of the quarter by what you finished, not by how busy you were.
