What it does
A failing mobile speed report lists dozens of problems, and most are not worth your week. Owners often fix whatever the report shouts about, or install a speed app that adds more code. Meanwhile the slow part may be one app, one big banner image or a widget that makes the page jump. The steps work in order of payback. First it reads the report and names the causes. Then it turns each fix into a range of extra orders and ranks them by gain per hour. It marks each app keep, remove or delay. You remove the apps and copy your theme, then it finds the code those apps left behind, fixes the first-screen image and stops the layout shifting. Every code change is for a copy of your theme, never the live one.
You give it
- Your PageSpeed Insights results for the homepage, a collection page and a product page
- Monthly visits, conversion rate and average order value
- A screenshot or list of your installed apps
- A copy of your theme files
- The first-screen (hero) image file (optional)
- Image (optional)
You get
- A plain read of the report with the cause on each page and a score out of 100 for the real-user results
- Every fix priced as a range of extra orders and ranked into this week, next month and parked
- A keep, remove or delay verdict for each app, with the app stack scored before and after
- The leftover app code to delete, the first-screen image fix and the layout shift fix, ready to test
Use it when
- Your mobile PageSpeed report is failing and you do not know which fix to do first.
- You have installed many apps over the years and suspect some slow the store for little return.
- Your developer or agency has a long to-do list and you need to choose what to pay for.
Steps
- Store speed report reader: Paste your PageSpeed report. Get a field score out of 100, each page read, three fixes.

- Store app script audit: Give it your apps and speed report. Get each app marked keep, remove or delay, and a score.
- Leftover app code finder: Give it your theme files and removed apps. Get each leftover script found and the lines to delete.
- Hero image loading fixer: Give it your slow-LCP page and theme. Get the hero image set to load first, with code.
- Layout shift fixer: Give it your CLS report and page. Get the shifting element found and the fix for each cause.
