What it does
Name a job family and get clear career levels, growth plans and a guide for managers on career talks. People can see what each level expects and what to do to reach the next one. The skill builds a ladder from entry to senior leadership with level definitions and progression criteria. It can set up two tracks, one for specialists and one for managers, or a lattice with sideways moves. It writes individual development plans, 90-day plans and self-assessment questions. It also gives managers prompts for career conversations and sets ways to measure whether the programme works, such as promotion rates and retention.
