What it does
Org charts show titles, not power. The person who decides may be a quiet adviser, a lender, a client or a founder's partner who never appears in the meeting. If you plan around the chart, you get surprised. This skill lists everyone who matters, on the chart and off it. For each person it records what they want, what they fear and whether they can help, block or hurt you. It checks whether your position rests on your own strength or on someone else's, finds where you could earn lasting anger and how to avoid it, and plans any hard step as one clean move. It also guesses what the other side will do next.
You give it
- A plain description of the team, deal or dispute
- Who is involved and what you know about each person
- What you want out of it
- A brief with the facts and dates (optional)
- A buyer brief (optional)
You get
- A map of every player with what they want, what they fear and what they can do to you
- A note on where you rely on your own strength and where on borrowed strength
- Where you could be resented, and how to avoid it
- Your safest first move, and a guess at the rival's next one
Use it when
- You are about to enter a negotiation, a reorganisation or a tense dispute.
- You keep being blocked by someone who does not appear on the chart.
- You need to take a hard step and want to do it once, well.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Describe the situation and list the people. Add anyone who is not in the room but could matter.
- Say what outcome you need, and what you would not give up.
- Read the map and mark anything it got wrong. It marks guesses, so correct those first.
- Take the first move and the rival forecast into your next conversation.
