What it does
Most first Amazon products fail for one of two reasons. The idea was crowded, so ads and reviews ate the margin. Or the idea looked good until the sums were done on landed cost, fees and the cash needed for the first order. Both are cheap to find out before you buy stock and expensive to find out after. The first step looks for gaps: phrases real buyers search where page 1 has no product built for them. It drops crowded niches and picks three to check. Then it pauses and asks you to choose one and get a supplier quote with cost, size, weight and your selling price. The second step runs five hard stops and ten scored tests on that product, names the weakest test, sizes the first order against your cash and gives a go, test first or no-go. Search volumes are tool estimates, so the second…
You give it
- A hobby, problem or Amazon category, and whether you will make the product or only brand it
- How much cash you can put into a first order
- A keyword tool export with monthly searches (optional)
- A paste of what page 1 shows for your ideas, such as prices, ratings and review counts (optional)
- After the pause, a supplier quote with unit cost, size, weight and your selling price
- Spreadsheet (optional)
- Store capture (optional)
You get
- Five to ten gap ideas ranked, each with what page 1 shows now and how yours would be better
- The three ideas worth a full check, and the ones dropped with reasons
- A score out of 100 for the idea you pick, built from ten tests, with the weakest test named
- A go, test first or no-go call, a first order size matched to your cash and the cheapest next test
Use it when
- You want to sell on Amazon but only have an interest or a category, and need a product to start from.
- You have a supplier quote in hand and want to know whether the margin and the competition still make sense.
- You are about to pay for a first order and want a second opinion on whether your cash can carry it.
Steps
- Amazon product opportunity finder: Give it an interest or category. Get Amazon product ideas people search for that page 1 misses.
- Amazon product viability scorer: Give it a product idea and costs. Get a score out of 100, the weakest test and a go or no-go.

- Tell it what you can make or brand and how much cash you have. Add a keyword export if you have one.
- When it pauses, pick one idea from the shortlist and get a supplier quote. Write down cost, size, weight and the price you would charge.
- Give it the quote. Read the weakest test before you read the verdict.
