What it does
A role written down as it is actually done, with a fair level to match. Name the role. The skill plans a job analysis, choosing methods such as interviews, questionnaires and task lists, and then drafts the duties, the share of time spent on each, and the knowledge, skills and abilities needed. It rates job complexity to suggest a level or pay band, and it helps check whether the written duties match real work. It supports overtime-exemption decisions with documented facts. The output is a clean job content record you can use for pay reviews, workforce planning and training needs, and one you can defend if someone challenges how the role was classified.
