What it does
A product can be good and still not get hired, or get hired once and never again. The gap is usually in the moments around it: judging if it is right, getting it, setting it up, using it a second time, what happens when something goes wrong. This skill takes one job spec and maps those moments. For each it writes the worry, rates today's experience from evidence and designs the experience that clears it, plus the change you need inside the company to deliver it. It names one owner per moment, tests whether a premium price is justified by the struggle you remove and marks which parts rivals cannot easily copy.
You give it
- A job spec for one circumstance
- A switch story map (optional)
- Reviews, complaints and support emails (optional)
- Customer words (optional)
You get
- A map of the moments from first look to later use
- The worry at each moment and a rating of today's experience
- A designed experience for each weak moment, with an owner
- A plan for the proof moment
- A premium test and a hard-to-copy list
- The top three changes for the next ninety days
Use it when
- Your product is good but customers stall, return it or do not use it twice.
- Each team does its part and the customer still struggles.
- Rivals match your features and price, and you want something harder to copy.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste the job spec. Add any story map and customer words.
- Check each rating against what you know. Correct any that are wrong.
- Give each change to its named owner.
- Take the plan to "Feature cutting planner" and "Customer progress measure picker".
