What it does
A headline has two jobs. It has to pick out the people who care, and it has to give them a reason to read on. Most weak headlines do one of those or neither: they could sit on any product, or they say who they are for and nothing else. This skill names the reader your headline should pick out, then checks the reward. It sorts the reward into a gain or a loss avoided, adds speed, ease or cost where your offer supports it, and runs a so-what test on the line alone. If the line teases, it checks the tease is tied to your product. Weak lines are rewritten and each change is listed.
You give it
- Your headline, or the ad it belongs to
- Your offer facts: price, speed, terms, proof
- Who the reader is (optional)
- More than one headline to compare (optional)
- Your offer (optional)
You get
- Whether the line picks out the right reader
- Whether the reward is clear in the line alone
- A score out of 100, with how it was worked out
- Stronger versions, each tied to your offer facts
Use it when
- Your headline sounds fine but nobody replies.
- You have a slogan where a promise should be.
- You want to compare a gain version with a loss version of the same promise.
How to use it
- Start a chat with the skill. Open it if you added it to your AI, or copy it and paste it in.
- Paste the headline alone, with no body copy.
- Paste your offer facts, or say they are missing.
- Test the gain and loss versions it writes.
- Run it again on your top pick.
Workflows that use it
- Write a headline that fits what your buyers already know
- Write an ad in five parts, from hook to ask
- Write headlines and pick the winner with a small test
