What it does
A first pitch usually opens with the product and stretches the truth a little. People say no, and you do not learn why. You change slides at random, or you give up after the fifth meeting. The steps work in an order that fixes this. First it writes a short pitch that starts from your belief, then how you act on it, then what you make. Next it marks each line by the kind of persuasion it uses and cuts what you cannot back up. Then it lists at least eight objections, answers the strongest, and says what your evidence cannot show. After that you pause and pitch it to about five people who can say no, writing down each no in their words. The last step sorts those doubts, keeps what survived and rewrites the opening around the doubt heard most.
You give it
- Your idea or cause and who you want to reach
- Facts you can prove, numbers with sources, results, quotes you may use
- Why you started, in your own words
- Your brand file or buyer profile (optional)
- After the pause, each no you heard, who said it and their words
- Brand brain (optional)
- Customer words (optional)
- Objection map (optional)
You get
- A short pitch from belief to method to what you make
- A line-by-line check of which persuasion is true, unproven or fake, and a cleaner rewrite
- The hardest objections with fair answers, the fact that would sink your case and what your evidence cannot show
- A doubt log sorted by problem, market, team and place, a rewritten pitch and one advice question for the next meeting
Use it when
- You are pitching an idea, a business or a cause to investors, a boss, a board or a group.
- You have pitched a few times, heard no, and cannot tell what to change.
- You want to persuade without pressure tricks or claims you cannot prove.
Steps
- Why-first message writer: Give your product or cause and who you want to reach. Get a short message: belief first, then how, then what.
- Honest persuasion editor: Paste your message or page. Get which persuasion levers it uses, which are true, which are fake and a cleaner rewrite.
- Sales objection answer writer: Paste your argument or pitch. Get the hardest objections, your answers, and a plain note on what your evidence cannot show.
- Pitch revision log: Paste your pitch and each no you heard. Get the doubts ranked, a revised pitch and the next advice questions to ask.
How to use it
- Download the handoff pack. It's a zip with HANDOFF.md and every skill file this workflow uses.
- Give the folder to Claude (in Claude Code, or as files in a Claude Project) and say "Follow HANDOFF.md".
- Give it facts you can prove. Anything it cannot check is cut or marked as missing proof.
- When it reaches the pause, pitch to about five people who can say no. Open each meeting by asking what they would change first, and write down each no as they said it.
- Come back with the notes and it finishes the rewrite.
